Parent Committee- Harvest Rain Academy believe that strong families anchor our community, which makes it better for all of us to live. Because the pre-school years (0-4 Yrs.) and school age children are so important in determining later development, it is crucial that the child's relationship at home and in the care giving setting be strong and positive. The committee exists to support activities that train, educate, console and care for the families of the children we serve, helping each child to recognize their full potential.
Provides opportunities for parents and children to interact together as a family unit. Some of these activities are:
Our PACT sessions are held quarterly: The children's interest and preferences drive activities with parents following the lead. Staff members help parents learn how to support their children's learning through interaction with each other in meaningful activities, including play. These opportunities offer parents and children a chance to become true partners in education. At the end of the session, a literacy-focused large group activity will provide ideas for transferring learning to the home and brings closure to the session.

Are held quarterly for Birth – K4 Programs & 2 times per year for GA Pre-K programs. Parents may also schedule conferences as needed during the school year.
