Child Development & Elementary School Programs

Our early childhood- elementary programs are designed to help lay the educational and spiritual foundation for children Birth – 5th Grade to succeed, as they matriculate from one grade level to the other. At the end of the program, our overall expectation is that these students will be: 1) Developmentally on track in all five domains; 2) Ready for kindergarten; and 3) Achieve academic proficiency to excel in all subjected areas (i.e. math, reading, science, social, and the arts).

Infant- Kindergarten 4 Program (Birth – 4 years old)
Hours: 6:30am – 6:00pm | Monday - Friday

This program is a private, Christ- Centered Program that operates year-round. It is accredited by Quality Rated GA Department of Early Learning and Care (Bright from the Start). We create a healthy, safe and fun environment where children can experience the joy of their childhood while away from home. We believe that children should be allowed to be children because each child is fearfully and wonderfully created by God. They are all unique in character and abilities. Therefore, we strive to provide opportunities where children can grow at their own pace and develop these abilities. The primary goal is for each child to develop spiritually and on developmental track in all five domains (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, literacy/language). This program utilizes the High Scope Curriculum and maintains low teacher-child ratios. Some of the enrichment features of this program are:

Private School Kindergarten – 3rd Grade Program
Program Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Before & After Care: 6:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. & 2:30 – 6pm (free)

This program provides school age students with an excellent academic Christ-based education built around the fundamental truths of the Bible. Our goal is for each student to be transformed by God's Word, and to master the State of GA's milestone and Common Core Standards. This is a private school program, and the students must be 5 years old by the upcoming school year to be admitted. This program is state accredited by GAYC and provides:

  • Low Teacher-Child Ratio: 1:12
  • ABEKA Bible Curriculum & GA Cyber Academy Curriculum
  • GA State Certified Teachers
  • Enrichment Features: Chapel, Music, Etiquette, Dance, Art, Spanish, & STREAM Classes

GA Lottery Pre-K Program (Publicly Funded by the State of GA BFTS)Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Before/After Care: 6:30 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. & 2:30 – 6 pm ($75)

Georgia's Pre-K Program is an (free lottery funded sponsored by Bright from the Start) educational program that focuses on developing kindergarten readiness or school readiness skills. The program utilizes the High Scope Curriculum and maintains a low teacher-child ratio. Families are encouraged to register early because slots are limited and are awarded on a first come first serve basis. To be eligible, children must meet the following requirements: 1) Be four years of age by September 1st of the current school year; and 2) must be a Georgia resident. Some of the enrichment features of this program are:

  • Early Reading Assessments & Individual and Small Group Reading tutorials
  • Ongoing Assessment using Work Sampling Online (WSO)
  • Spanish, Dance, and STEM Activities
  • Extra-curricular activities such as participation in the annual fashion show and Black History programs.
  • Certified and trained staff with over 15 years' experience

Fine & Performing Arts Program Mon & Wed: Piano

Summer: Art & Theater
Ages: 3 -17 years old

Artistic Vision: To educate the whole child through engaging them in hands-on enrichment activities such as music, dance, theater, and art. These activities are infused with Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art & Math (STREAM) to ensure that students academically succeed. The following services are provided throughout the school year:

1) Dance (ballet/modern/jazz/creative movement)
2) Music (Piano & Guitar)
3) Drama/Theater
4) Fine Arts

Description of Art Activities: Each artist is encouraged to embrace their creativity, to show appreciation for the arts, and to develop foundational art skills needed for them to become a successful future artist. In dance, students will execute dance routines or movements, master basic dance techniques, and understand ballet terminology and body positions. In music, the students will learn to identify notes of the treble and bass clef, as well as learn to read and play basic music notes. At the end of the art workshops, they will develop an appreciation for the work of famous artists from a variety of different cultures and develop their own creativity and artistic expression. They will also learn the basic elements of acting and develop life skill skits for their peers in the theater workshop.



School Age Youth Enrichment Services

Our Supplemental education school age programs provide Academic support, Career exploration, and Community involvement (A.C.C.) opportunities for school age children and youth. We believe that after school activities should be developmentally age-appropriate, enriching hands-on and fun. During their out of school hours, school-age students should participate in their areas of interest, examine new fields of interest, explore hands-on activities, and engage in activities that will promote and expand their physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth. We also believe that every student should be given the opportunity to grow in the aforementioned areas despite their race, religion, gender, disability and economic status. At the end of school year: 1) K-3rd Grade Students will become reading proficiently; 2) 4th – 8th Grade students will exceed 8th Grade Math Standards; 3) 8th – 12th Grade students will be ready for and graduate HS successfully.

After School Youth Enrichment Program Hours: 2:30 pm – 6 pm /Monday - Friday

Transportation School Pick Up 
E.C. West, Campbell, Renaissance, Liberty Point Elementary; Bear Creek Middle School; and Creekside High School.

After School Enrichment:

  • K-3rd Grade Reading Support: 4:30pm – 6pm
  • 4th - 12th Grade Tutorial Math/Reading Services: 4:30 pm – 6 pm

FREE GED & SAT Preparation Tutorials (Postponed)
Middle School – Adults: 6:30 – 8:30 pm Thursdays

GED Tutorials: This service provides an overview of the four academic subject areas that comprise of the GED and high school equivalency tests. The students will be given a diagnostic pretest, and the service content will be tailored according to the student's needs. The curriculum and assessment used is the Kaplan GED Test Premier book. Tutorials are provided for Middle School and High School students to help prepare them to take the SAT test. They will master test strategies through realistic practice and In-depth review. They will also reinforce critical concepts and improve their performance with instant online analysis and feedback. The text book used is Kaplan SAT Premier. An assessment will be initially administered and the students will be given support to master their areas of weakness. This program also teaches the students' life skills that will develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, self-management, communication and inter-personal skills.

Summer Enrichment and Business Camps Start Date: June- August(Interim care is available the last week of May)
Time: 6:30 – 6p.m. Monday – Friday

Private Summer Reading Camp for Rising GA Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Students (Paid):

This is a private paid Reading program for rising Pre-K students. It is an 8-week program that targets students who are registered to attend Georgia's Pre-K Program or a Head Start Program for the upcoming school year. These students must be age 4 by September 1st of the upcoming school year.

GA Pre-K Summer Reading Camp for Rising Kindergarten Students (Free)

The GA Pre-K Summer Transition Program (STP) is funded by Bright from the Start and offered for 6 weeks Monday – Friday 8 am – 2:30 pm (6.5. hours) during the summer months. It is a 5 week Reading program designed to support rising kindergartners who either did not attend Georgia's Pre-K or Head Start or attended but need additional academic support before entering kindergarten. The eligibility requirements are: 1) Families must meet the same age eligibility and residence requirement as the GA Pre-K Program (see above); 2) Families must also meet the low-income guidelines (verification proof must be submitted); 3) Children must be 5 by September 1st of the upcoming school year.

Summer Camp for Elementary Students (K-7th Grade)

STREAM Explosion Camp allows students the opportunity to participate in activities relating to Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The students will spend each day developing their skills in each STREAM subject. This gives these students the opportunity to explore and experience different career paths in the field of STEM while improving their math and reading skills in a fun way. We creatively integrate Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, & Math activities to help students meet the School Readiness, Georgia Milestone, & Common Core standards.

Summer Camp for Middle School & High School Students (8th – 12th Grade)

Camp ROCK Leadership & Apprenticeship Program: Apprenticeship & Entrepreneurship are two of the oldest methods of career preparation for youth. This camp is an industry driven education and career exploration program based on recognized industry and common core educational standards. It is a means by which employers address current and projected employment needs and students explore their chosen career path. This program is a partnership among businesses, schools,  the government, parents and youth apprentices. This program provides a small stipend for students 15 yrs. – 17yrs at the end of the summer providing funding is available. While at camp the students will learn how to develop their own businesses, visit different companies, prepare a business plan and participate in a business simulation on their market day. The students will have the opportunity to make their own profit from their own created businesses.

This is not an exhaustive list of field trips. Most field trips are included in the weekly tuition. However, parents will be asked to pay for some field trips. Upper Elementary students will attend field trips 2-3 days per week. Middle & HS Student will attend field trips 4 days per week.
